Mallaig Leisure Centre
DMD Construction Ltd, a Fort William based building contractor has been working on a new extension for Mallaig pool and leisure centre in the Scottish Highlands. The extension was built to create a café space within the leisure centre. Seven Glulam frames were supplied to the project by our Buckhaven site.

Mill Green Outlet Village
Mill Green Outlet Village is a brand-new McArthur Glen Designer Outlet based in Cannock, Staffordshire. The project consisted of eight large blocks covering an area of approx. 27,000m2, with all blocks constructed from steel portal frames split over multiple levels.

Scripture Union Camping Pod
Scripture Union (SU) Scotland is a Christian charity that works in partnership with local churches and young people around Scotland to help them to explore the bible. The charity offers a wide range of residential breaks for children and required camping pods to be built. Donaldson Timber Engineering (DTE) designed and supplied 11no. barrel style trusses at 600mm centres for a camping pod at Lendrick Muir, SU’s site near Crook of Devon.

CCG OSM
Between September 2014 and February 2015, DTE Buckhaven worked with CCG OSM on a social housing project, supplying I-Joists for 423 floor cassettes for six blocks of flats and five blocks of terraced houses.

Toryglen Nursing Home
The Toryglen Nursing Home development is a part of Glasgow City Council’s multi-million pound programme to build five new care homes and four day centres in the city. Following a successful partnership on a similar project last year, DTE was brought in by contractor City Building LLP to supply attic trusses and Finnjoist floor cassettes for the 120-room, eight-wing site.
